“True Facts”

The city of Pleasant Hill did indeed consent to the

establishment of the garden park...... As per Mayor Durant and

Mayor Angeli.

The City has established a monument and sign in memorial to

the people which died on 9/11/01.

The Pleasant Hill Recreation and Parks District did indeed

consent to the establishment of the Twin Towers Memorial

Park....As per Mr. Dick Miller and witnessed by Sherry Sterrett

( our home owners President ) and

Mr. Stanley Wong. ( District Superintendent )

The Property is owned and maintained by the Pleasant Hill

Recreation and Parks District.

The Property has a Memorial Garden Maintained by

William Richmond, Tres Lagos North homeowner and with the

help of Mr. Stanley Wong. ( District Superintendent )

The plants and gardening supplies have been donated by

William Richmond , concerned citizens and retail stores in the

area.

The Tres Lagos North Home Owners Association has supplied

the water as per permission of the manager of the landscape

maintenance crew and with the OK from the Association

directors, received verbally to William Richmond from Frances

Beaman, the secretary of the Tres Lagos North Home Owners

Association, the board approval is believed to be in the minutes

of one the meetings in 2002.

The cost to each homeowner is less than 50 cents a month for

actual water to maintain the monument to the people that died

on 9/11/01, (closer to 35 cents) plus to have the bonus of the

beautiful garden park maintained in their neighborhood

without any addional cost to the Association. The maintenance

is by William Richmond to the memory of those

who suffered 9/11/01.

Mr.Patrick Batka  (925-794-3378) and Mr. Harold Loer (925-609-9131)

did try to have the water shut off.

This would have closed the garden forever.

The Tres Lagos Home Owners did vote

to maintain the water for the garden dispite

these men and their actions against the garden.
